It's been a long while since you took Algebra II or French III. Helping your high schooler navigate homework assignments can be intimidating. That's why the DLC created our live online tutor service that connects your student with real tutors every Monday through Thursday from 5:00pm to 8:00pm.
It's free, so everyone can participate.
Think of them as your family's personal team of tutors, a trusted resource you can turn to for aid before a homework assignment turns into a crisis or in those moments of anxiety the night before a big exam. Our tutors also assist with college entrance essays and scholarship applications. Encouraging your child to use this live service teaches them good study and research habits.
Using a secure instant message system, students ask questions in the moment and use an online white board to work out formulas or equations. Our tutors are also available off hours—students email questions as they arise and a tutor will respond.
Our tutors are quite capable. They're fluent in many foreign languages and have expertise in math, science, English and business. Students find support for college planning and tips for taking the WASL, SAT and ACT.
Some DLC Tutors are college students living in Washington and a couple of recent grads are logging in from Europe.
