Mathcasts—short screencasts that explain and solve mathematical problems—were developed to help students prepare for the 7th 
and 10th grade math WASL. Derived from the 2001-2007 WASL released items, all Mathcasts align with the Washington State math standards for 7th through 10th grade and are organized according to the five content strands and three process strands of the WASL. Teachers can also use Mathcasts to supplement instruction with middle and high school students.
