Registration is currently closed.

The Innovative Practices for Student Achievement Conference is a professional development opportunity for DLC member-schools that will focus on integrating online resources into the classroom curriculum to support students' academic success and creating and sustaining school-based professional development. The conference will specifically address innovative uses of DLC resources and best practices that have made an impact on student achievement and align with powerful teaching.

The conference will include workshops, discussions, and speakers that will help educators think about how to use DLC resources to create interactive, multimedia rich, experiential, and project oriented learning experiences for their students. All attendees will also participate in "The Power of Peer Coaching" workshop, which will be facilitated by the Puget Sound Center for Teaching, Learning, and Technology (PSCTLT). The peer-coaching strand will focus on the power of peer coaching to build teacher leaders for technology integration and to create a culture of reflection and collaboration within schools.

Participants will:

  • Learn what other DLC schools in Washington are doing to support student success.
  • Explore DLC resources in depth to gain a deeper understanding of how to integrate technology into their curricula.
  • Learn how specific DLC resources support powerful teaching and student achievement.
  • Go home with coaching skills to support the use of DLC resources to enhance technology integration within the teaching and learning processes in their schools.
