Oprah Winfrey for President

Oprah Winfrey proves yet again that yes, she is one of the most influential people in the world. On a recent show Oprah highlighted multiple serial rapists who are currently on the loose. To give the viewer a more intimate and personal relation to the subject, she also brought on various guests targeted by the particular rapists, as well as rape victims in general. To say the least the episode was another amazingly powerful show, highlighting for the American viewer the sometimes overshadowed and taboo subject of child rape.

The climax of this episode was when Oprah offered $100,000 to every rapist caught by a viewer. Almost immediately following the show, Oprah gave a highlight episode showing two, yes two rapists that were already caught! What does this mean? It means first of all that we should all be tipping our hats to Oprah Winfrey, the ever campaigning humanitarian. It also means that Oprah Winfrey can catch criminals that the FBI can't (or haven't put enough effort into). Alongside her campaign to continue to aide the victims of New Orleans, giving away millions of dollars of scholarships to underprivileged youth, making everyday Americans wishes come true, and getting the country to read for fun, Oprah is also catching some of America's most wanted. Is it just me or has she done more for the country than our local and national politicians put together? Oprah Winfrey, the American people applaud you.
