Powerful tools and support to boost academic achievement

Online resources, ongoing support, and time-saving tools give teachers more time to teach and students more time to learn. The following resources and support are included in our full membership package:

Digital Library

Safe searching and relevant materials

This world-class digital library, featuring four subscription databases, is available anytime, anywhere. Purchased outside of the DLC, these resources would cost over $20 per student. Learn more.

Teaching Resources

Standards-based curricula to individualize learning

Online curricula—ClassTools, ExploreLearning, ALP WASL Prep, and Beyond Books—enhance math, English, science, social studies, world language, and AP classes. Compare to over $90 per unique student enrollment for ClassTools for non-DLC members. Learn more.

Digital Tools

Portfolios and discussion boards for collaboration and reflection

These easy-to-use online tools help students and educators create portfolios, collaborate on projects, and build online communities. And they're only available through the DLC. Learn more.

School Support

On-site and online support all year long

The DLC helps you meet your school goals and integrate DLC resources into your curriculum by providing a variety of free training and support opportunities. Learn more.

DLC Tutor Program

Access to Online Courses

(average cost: $255 per course*)

More options to earn credits and follow interests

Schools have access to 300+ high-quality courses, in a broad range of subject areas, offered by some of the country's best online course providers. Save up to $75 per course by purchasing through the DLC. Learn more.

*College courses cost more. Some courses require the purchase of additional materials, including textbooks.

Course Credit Funds

Save even more on online courses.

Public high schools receive $1000 in credit to help offset the cost of online courses and materials. Course Credit Funds are granted on a first-come, first-served basis. Course Credit Funds have been allocated for 08-09 -- schools will now be added to a waitlist to receive funds on a first-come, first-served basis if more become available. Learn more.

Washington teachers are supported by the DLC

Along with our rich resources and implementation support, the DLC offers professional development tools and conferences for teachers that encourage them to use technology to stay abreast of the latest educational trends and fulfill clock hours. Learn more.

"If we're going to purchase online courses and resources like library search engines and WOIS, it makes sense to go through the DLC because they've already done the legwork to find relevant, easy-to-use, quality resources. And the DLC saves us money."
