OSPI and the DLC partner to launch the Digital Learning Department.
Important changes at the DLC
As a result of the recently-passed Substitute Senate Bill 5410 - Online Learning, a new Digital Learning Department (DLD) will reside at the Office of the Superintendant of Public Instruction. Starting July 2009, the department will provide:
- - Information about and access to high-quality online course providers and online school programs
- - Access to online educational resources
- - Continued quality assurance for online course providers
This change enables the DLC to fulfill the vision of serving every school in the state and establishes a statewide locale for online resources.
